Anthony Prothero is a photographer and educator whose practice moves between commercial photography, personal work, and teaching. His photographic work explores memory, imagination, the family archive, and vernacular imagery, with a focus on how photographs accumulate meaning through context and use. He is Course Leader for BA Commercial Photography at Falmouth University, where he leads curriculum design, supervises dissertations, and supports teaching teams across the Institute of Photography’s undergraduate provision. Alongside academia, he is the founding director of Blueprint, a photography gallery and community art space in Falmouth, and has worked extensively across the photographic industry as a freelance photographer, digital operator, and production specialist, collaborating with editorial, cultural, and commercial clients.
